On January 30th, 2020, Portugal’s tanning industry association (APIC) organised a workshop in Alcanena as part of its contribution to the Social & Environmental Reporting 2020 programme, supported by the European Commission. Topics of the workshop: authenticity and protection of leather, with presentations by UNIC - Concerie Italiane / Cotance and ICEC - Istituto di Certificazione per l'Area Pelle.
