ICEC certified the first Spanish tannery, based in Igualada district, according to the standard ICEC TS 412 about leathers traceability.

It is Curtidos Badia SAU tannery, certified on April 12th, 2019 with the certificate nr. 16B.

The certified products are  “CLASSIC SNC" and "MOZART MINI GREDOS”  which obtained a traceability score of 50/100.

Other foreign companies had been already certified by ICEC in Turkey, Tunisia and Serbia. By now ICEC has already issued about 35 certificates for traceability and 30 more certificates will be issued in the next  few months.
